Barn Hours:
Monday - Closed
Tuesday through Friday 8:30 am to 9:30 pm
Saturday, Sunday 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Arena must be vacated one-half hour prior to closing time. Please be finished and ready to leave at closing.
All stalls will be cleaned Monday through Saturday by barn personnel. Water buckets will be cleaned weekly.
All horses will be turned out Monday through Saturday by barn personnel.
DRIVEWAY SPEED LIMIT IS 5 M.P.H.
Sunday – Turnouts
You may turn your horse out in its designated area, however you are responsible for bringing them in.
Sunday – Stall Cleaning
Feel free to muck your own stall. Please place all manure into the dumpster. (Please Do not leave in aisle). Each stall can be freshly bedded with no more than 1 muck bucket full of shavings.
Feeding:
GRAIN - Horses will be fed grain twice a day (AM / PM ). We provide sweet feed and equine senior.
HAY – Horses will be fed hay three times a day, 2 flakes AM, 2 flakes PM, and 1 flake at NIGHT.
Any horse requiring additional hay needs to be scheduled with barn management and will be charged accordingly.
Smoking and Drinking:
All smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages in the barns is prohibited at all times.
Pets:
Please do not bring your dogs to the barn. Management and trainers are the only exception to this rule.
Customer Parking:
Customers are to park in the front designated parking lot. Please do not park behind the main barn and remember the speed limit is 5 m.p.h.
Trailer Parking:
Each border is allowed to park a 2 horse trailer on the Francis Road side of the property at no charge. Any trailer bigger than a 2 horse trailer will be charged a $50.00 fee each month.
Lessons:
All lessons will be under the supervision of our teaching staff only. NO UNSUPERVISED JUMPING will be allowed at ANY time. Jumping is allowed only in a lesson with our teaching staff. All Junior riders (ages 17 and under) are required to wear a helmet while riding, whether hacking or jumping. EVERYONE, Juniors and Adults, must wear a helmet when jumping. There is to be no lunging during lessons. All lessons have priority in the ring. Please be courteous to all riders in the ring. When there is a group lesson of 3 or more we appreciate your patience in giving these lessons dedicated ring time.
Heaters:
Heaters are to be turned on and adjusted by management and trainers only. The heaters in the arena and main barn are not to be set above 45 degrees. The stereo is to be turned on and adjusted by management and trainers only.
Telephone:
The telephone is not provided for everyone to use. If you have an emergency call (911 or are in need of a vet), please let management know.
Washer / Dryer:
There is a washer and dryer in the tack room. You need to provide your own detergent if you choose to use the machines. Please wash only saddle pads, towels, polos, and bandages. Do not put any kind of sheets or blankets in the machine. These machines are not are able to handle these large items. Please try to wash only a full load, not just a single item.
Barn Courtesy:
Each boarder will provided one saddle rack and bridle hook. Each boarder will be allowed to bring one reasonably sized trunk. There is a crosstie provided in each stall in the main barn. We encourage you to use these when grooming to keep the aisle clear and clean as possible. There are also crossties provided in the aisle. Please do not abuse the use. Crossties must be dropped when passing a horse on the crossties. Do not leave a horse unattended on the crossties. Aisles must be clean when you are done. Brooms, shovels, and muck buckets are provided in each aisle for cleaning up after using the crossties. Please put all litter in proper waste receptacles. Please keep tack room clean and neat. Do not feed treats to any horse but your own without prior consent of the owner.
Turnouts:
We encourage turning horses out in selected groups. All individual turnouts will be accommodated as best we can. Individual turnouts will have to be rotated throughout the day according to how many individual turnouts are needed and how many paddocks are available. Turnout times and paddocks will be decided by the management and are subject to change as based upon weather conditions. A questionnaire will be provided for each border for their horses’ turnout asking what kind of weather / footing is acceptable.
Boarding Rate:
Board in main barn -- $500.00 per month $18.00 per day
Board in lower barn -- $450.00 per month $16.00 per day
Board is due and payable on or before the 1st of each month. If board is not paid by the 7th of the month there will be an additional $10.00 late fee. There will be a $25.00 fee charged for any NSF checks or checks returned from the bank. There is a locked payment box located in the main aisle. You can drop your payment in this box at any time. This box is also a suggestion box so please feel free to put your suggestions in the box.
